Arrival Story: I work with Schnauzer Love Rescue and they had a few senior dogs that were hard to place, for whatever reason. One I just wasn't able to take because of the hours I work (he needed someone at home more often) but Scotty was perfect! I fell in love with his sweet little face, without his left eye he almost looks like he's winking! He was hit by a car as a puppy from what I understand and they couldn't save his eye, but he's just fine without it. He may run into or against things occasionally, but it doesn't bother him, he's a trooper! Bio: He's adorable and the polar opposite of Dexter. Dexter is very independent and not overly cuddly, but Scotty is a love bug who wants nothing more than to be with you, giving you love. His cognitive disease had progressed to the point where his quality of life had severely deteriorated, and the best thing I could do for him was let him go. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do and I'm heartbroken, I've been crying for days. I miss him so much and it's hard to know how I will get through this time. I just have to keep reminding myself that he's no longer suffering and he's in a better place, playing with all the other pups until I join him one day.
