Favorite Toy:
Small stuffed bone, anything to play tug of war with or to chase!

Favorite Food:

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere outside where there are things to see, sniff and chase!

Best Tricks:
Tricks? I don't do tricks. Tricks are for dogs!

Arrival Story:
When we saw Buster and his sister, Petunia, we fell in love! There was never any doubt which "one" we would take. We could not separate them! We saw them first when they were just 3 weeks old, then every couple of weeks after that until they were old enough to come home with us at 10 weeks.

Full Name: Sargent Buster McLoveBug. The Sargent is a tribute to his dad's 30+ years of military service, and the McLoveBug refers to his personality - he is most definitely a "lover"! We were not interested in pet store dogs or dogs from a breeder, or "puppy farm". We found out about Buster and Petunia from one of the trainers at our gym and made the hour and a half trek north to his parent's home to see them. They were "accidents" as their parents were supposed to be fixed, but they showed up before that could happen, luckily for us!

Daddy was home for two weeks, and I was so happy! Mommy took Tunie and me to the airport to pick him up, and we sat on his lap and licked his face all the way home. He tasted funny, like sand, and he said that's because he lives and works in the desert in Koo-Ate. Mommy has done such a great job with us by herself, making sure we have food to eat, taking us for walks, playing with us, holding us when we are scared or don't feel good, and taking us to the doctor when we are sick. We love her so much, and we know sometimes it is very hard for her to do everything by herself. Anyway, while he was home he played with us, fed us, walked us, and most importantly, let us lay on top of him and lick his head! We loved that. But now he is gone again, back to Koo-Ate. I don't know what Koo-Ate is, but I hate it! He did tell us, though, that he would be back in four months, or moons, and that we could count that using two ears, one nose and one tail. And Mommy will also help us keep track. We all, me, Mommy and Tunie, will be so happy when he comes home for good.

Where's my Daddy?

I miss my Daddy! He's been gone for so long. I can't stand it when he is gone like this. But, even though he is far away in some place called Koo-ate, he still talks to me and tells me he loves and misses me and that he is coming home soon. In fact, just last night, while I was playing with my toys, he told me that he is coming home in two and a half months! Actually, he said it was three (full) moons and a little bit. I can count moons, but Mommy has to help me with counting months, whatever they are. When I went out last night, I saw that the moon is almost full. After that it will only be two more moons and a little bit and my Daddy will be home! I'm so happy, and I can't wait!

We're Moving

We're moving to a place where it is cold, and where Mommy and Daddy says it snows. Daddy came home from Koo-Ate (Kuwait) and he told us that it is going to be a lot of fun for us all. It is a place called Colorado, and he said there are a lot of other dogs that live there, too. He and Mommy went there to find us a house, and they got Petunia and me a great house! It's all on one level, so we won't have to run up and down stairs all the time any more. And there's a big back yard with a fence so we can go outside and play, and not have to wear a leash every time we go out! Mommy said that she will still take us for walks every day, though, for exercise. I love our walks. In fact, when Daddy was home, he took us for our walks every day. He let us get away with more than Mommy does. But I know that she is only watching out for us, because she loves us so much. We love her, too.

Right now, Mommy is busy packing all of the stuff up in the house. I hope she remembers to bring all my toys! She and Daddy took us to a really cool store called Mutropolis, and bought us some new sweaters and a coat to wear in Colorado.

I miss my Daddy. He was only here for three weeks and then he had to go back to Koo-Ate. But while he was here, I laid in his lap every day, and slept on his back every night. He lets me lick his head, too. Mommy doesn't. Of course, her head has a lot of hair on it, too. It's not as fun to lick as Daddy's is. He told me and Petunia that he would be back in seven moons, so we're counting them. We just had one full moon, so six more and he will be home again! I can't wait!
