 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: November 4th 2005
Likes: His mommy, his family. Baths & Showers...he just loves them!

Pet-Peeves: Being told "No"

Favorite Toy: Anything he can fit in his mouth.

Favorite Food: Anything I have.

Favorite Walk: Any where that requires a car ride.

Best Tricks: When I tell him to go to bed, he goes straight to my bed & flipps back his side of the blankets, fluffs his pillow & lays down.

Arrival Story: Wee~Wee is from a litter of my Sir & Dam. A litter of 12. At 3 weeks old, I saw signs of a problem. He was not as easily awaken or alert when I entered the room. I pay close attention to him fearing that he may be deaf. My heart broke as I kept it to myself, only to finially say it outloud when he was 5 weeks. Yes, he is deaf. I had started looking for homes for all the babies when they were young, except for Wee~Wee. I knew he would simply stay with our family. I was not willing to take a chance that some one woud abuse him or pass his around from home to home because of not being able to teach him the tools he needs to communiate. Putting him to sleep, as a lot of people would, has never been an option. Wee~Wee is a true gift! Smart as any hearing dog. He has learned & continues to learn sign like a true champion!
I have found that there isn't a whole lot of information out there about deaf dogs. I am always seeking new info as me and Wee~Wee continue to learn together everyday.
I, and the babies that were adopted, have been so blessed to have went to such wonderful, loving homes. I coudn't be happier.

We had to entertain ourselves cause mom & dad were working on the dang house, but then I turned around & saw my other real sister I couldn't believe it. I was pretty happy to see her, but JJ was out of her mind happy! She was going crazy! My mom said I will see my favorite sister soon. I hope so, she was big...ok, so she was a nice pillow to lay on, not that I giving my mom's pillow back. JJ cried when she left, those 2 were close. I liked to sneak up on them & scare them. BOL. I was pretty lazy this weekend, I think I got to much sun!

Oh yes I was there the day after his surgery to take my baby home. I think they forgot to tell him he wasn't supposed to be running & jumping so soon after he got home. He is so full of life let's just say...
He is all fixed and back to normal.

I hate to leave him. I just hate it. I really worry about him. I took Wee~Wee to the vet this morning to get fixed. It is the responsible thing to do for the little guy. I do really like the place I take him to though. It's an hour away, but they have around the clock staff & they do know that he is deaf. He likes the girls there & they like him. The last time he had to stay overnight I had my hands full for a week! I couldn't leave the room for a second without him freaking out. I am hoping when I pick him up in the morning he will not be as upset as he was last time. They said he cried & cried & cried last time....well duh, he's deaf & you are not his mother and to top it off you put him in a cage that's not his.
He is getting much better at being in his cage. I think a lot of his problem is separation anxiety. It's getting better. It sure is quite around here though. He is a VERY "active" boy:) Sometimes he acts like a wild monkey. JJ has been looking for him off & on. But the rest of the granimals seem to really be enjoying all the piece & quite.
Sign is going GREAT!! He just amazes me. I sure do miss that little guy:( but you know I will be up there at the crack of dawn to pick him up.
