Likes: being admired... especially being brushed, recieving and giving kisses
Pet-Peeves: Being petted while eating, pointing out her hiding spots, not getting attention
Favorite Toy: her stuffed sheep... we call it her "ugly baby"... she even brings it in her bed when she has pups
Favorite Food: Treats, treats, treats... we had to cut down, she was getting hefty
Favorite Walk: Down the street to our friend Noel and her cats
Best Tricks: Tricking our other dogs Sabrina & Trouble
Arrival Story: I had seen an ad for a long-hair chihuahua/papillon cross. Both breeds are my favorite breeds so I thought a mix was just perfect. I brought Sabrina home (she was about 9 months old)... 2 months later she gave birth to one little girl... Shady! I consider Shady a gift from Heaven.
Bio: Shady is very clever. She often tricks the other dogs... it is really funny to watch. We love to sing to her and she just loves the attention. She's had 2 litters and her babies are all beautiful and they are all in good homes, I'm happy to say.
Shady loves treats and her little stuffed sheep... she expects others to feel the same way, though, and often glares at you until you aknowledge her "baby" or even her treats!
You mean the world to me. I always feel like you're my gift from the boys. Dave, Chris and Charlie knew I'd need you. You were the only light in my life for so long, I don't know what I would have done without you. Your courage and crazy antics keep me smiling and I love you more and more each day. You are truly a gift from heaven and I am blessed that you chose me as your human companion.
My Sha-Shay songs:
"You're BEAUTY in this world... you're just my little girl."
"What would I do without you? Where would I be without you? I would feel so bad. I would feel so sad. I would feel so lost without you."
"The baby, the baby, the baby Sha-Shay. She's just a little girl. She's the cutest little girl. I love her, Oh I love her. She's my baby and I love her. She's just a lady and I love her. She's just a little girl. She's the sweetest little girl."
... plus many others! ; )
My poor little Shay! She has to listen to me sing her little Shady songs every night when we go to bed. My voice isn't the greatest and I may sing a little off-key, but her tail wags like crazy through it all.
After finishing my last diary entry, guess who showed up?! Baby Boo... the little dwarf hamster. I tried helping my hu-mom catch him, but her friend Noel stopped me. I just would have held him in my mouth... honest! I wouldn't have eaten him... me? eat a rodent!? I think not!
Ah, well, have a good weekend!
Take care, Shay
