Bio:
Cody is truly a special boy, he is one of the most loyal and loving animals ever! Cody is a source of so much joy to us we just love him to pieces. He is extremely spoiled and his comfort is our utmost priority. He tends to be very laid back and extrememly unselfish (he has two younger brothers Sklar and Dylan), is very patient, but knows that he is the boss. When he is not happy about something he lets everyone know! GRRRR! Of the three, Cody is the most prone to most anything that can go wrong. Porcupine quills, not once but twice (he didn't hear the porcupine the first time!), misc. tussles with other dogs at the park that for some reason only leave him wounded! Stiches, stiches, stiches... He is also cursed with long gangly legs! He has had not one, but two Cruciate Ligament tears in both his hind legs. And, yes to go along with those blown-out knees - Two brand new knees - thanks to the FABULOUS and fantastic TPLO surgery. He is as good as new, and as you can see quite the athlete! Diving, swimming, fetching, chewing sticks - all summer long. He has loved the water since being a pup in California. He enjoys daycare twice a week, the K9 Kab picks him and his brothers up in the morning, and takes them to the Spotted Spa (spottedspa.ca for those of you that live in Kelowna,BC) where they run and play all day long. The Kab drops them back off (usually filthy) and the boys normally don't move a muscle for the rest of the night! Cody speaks, but pronounces all his words beginning with the letter 'R'. He often says to me: "Rummy, Rye Rwant Ra Reanut Rutter Reat!" He sounds most like Scoobie Doo - Hence the Nickname 'Ruby Roo'! Cody also sings, well howls really, when we leave the boys at home alone, Cody and his brothers often break out in the "PLEEEEEEEEEEEEESE TAAAAAAKKKE UUUUUUSSSSSSSSS WWWIIIIITH YYYYYYYOOOOUUUUU!" song. The neighbours LOVE IT! Also, the odd time an ambulance drives by at 3am, we are jolted out of bed by the three boy band. You sort of get used to it though and of course we would never want to squash their creativity, I mean they practice hard!
