Arrival Story:
I found Dixie on petfinder.com and called about her. The shelter manager told me that she was picked up as a pregnant stray, and they had contacted an affenpinscher group who thought she might be a purebred. After her puppies were weaned, she was spayed and put up for adoption. She had been placed with a young lady who was unable to housetrain her, and was returned to the shelter. She was a perfect fit for our family. She is my heart! I can't imagine life without her. She is the sweetest little girl!

Bio:
She has a brother who was also found on petfinder.com. He is a part scottie/part schnauzer mix named Batman.Dixie won a "most beautiful" pageant this summer and Batman won the "most handsome" pageant.
