My big back yard, my new little brother Freddy
The cats won't play with me, other furballs invading my front yard, my new little brother Freddy, thunder and fireworks
Out of a basket full of store-bought toys...a pinecone from the backyard, my new little brother Freddy. I guess BoBo is pretty cool. At least it has two squeakers, and is long enough to play tug-o-war with Freddy the Brat.
Cheese, tuna fudge that Daddy makes for me (Mommy says it stinks up the whole house while it's baking, but I think it's worth it!) The cheesy chicken treats he just made are pretty good, too and they don't stink nearly as badly
Silver Comet Rail Trail; anywhere that doesn't involve walking into the groomer's
Shaking hands and chasing my tail (one of these days....it will be mine)
Mommy and Daddy adopted me from Small Dog Rescue and Humane Society of Georgia.
A vet tech found me wandering by the side of the road in a rainstorm with no collar or other i.d. I don't remember much about my old people, but I think there was a woman who used to beat me with a broom. I don't like brooms. I like women now, though. Especially Mommy. :-)

To our darling Pepper Sauce,
You have brought such joy into our lives. I don't know what kind of a life you had before, but we have been able to guess that you were beaten with sticks or brooms most likely by a woman, and possibly someone tried to drown you. But I promise you all that is in the past. I know you know that now, too. Over the last two years we have watched you thrive, allowing the scars to fade, and have developed a truly wonderful and loving personality. We love you so very much and are very proud of you, our fur kid.
Love and doggy kisses,
Mommy and Daddy
To my Mommy and Daddy,
I can hardly remember what life was like before you adopted me. I was scared at first, not knowing what kind of a new mess I had gotten myself into, but I can't imagine a more wonderful place to be. I love curling up with you in bed, and being able to run free in the backyard, but most of all I love that you love me, and would never ever hurt me. I never want to leave you, and I know I never will until it's time to go "sit, stay" on the Rainbow Bridge until you're ready to come play again. But that's a long ways off. For now, let's go play with Freddy in the backyard!
Love and licks,
Cayenne (Pepper Sauce)
