I was searching for an adult, red, short-haired, female dachshund. After over a year of waiting for the perfect canine companion, I ran into Abby on the Coast to Coast Dachshund Rescue web page (www.c2cdr.org). When we met, it was love at first sight--I knew because she let me rub her belly :)
