Arrival Story:
Ike used to belong to an old friend of mine. She got him not too long after I had gotten Denali. Her family was a rough one and she was back and forth visiting her mom and dad. She finally ended up moving in with her mom, and leaving Ike behind at her Dad's. Her dad had to end up caring for him, and he then had a gf move in with him. There then came a time where she asked me to babysit him for a week. They were going out of town. So, I agreed and he had a really great time here. He was not neutered and my girls had not yet been spayed, so that was a joy! Anyways, ever since I baby sat him 2 years ago, he constantly would escape and come to our house. This had gone on for two years. They tried neutering him, and tried getting him a cat as a playmate, but nothing worked. So one day he showed up at our house. No one called or came over for him. So my mom went to take him back over and there were 3 cars in the driveway. Nobody answered when she knocked several times. This was the last straw... my mom contacted my friend's dad and asked if they even wanted him. They (her dad and gf) discussed it and handed him over to us. He has been with us for a little over a month now and has only ran off one time, but the one time is nothing compared to how much he escaped from these people. These people were so uneducated it was sad. The dog was smarter than they were! But he's here with us now, and is very happy and content.

Bio:
Ike is a very sweet and laid back boy. He does have his spunk and can be quite a pest to his older sister Denali! But he's a sweet boy and just didn't want to be where he was. I guess he was trying to tell them that he wanted to be here! Which is not surprising because most Siberian's that I know do best when they have a doggy friend. But he actually has a very high pack drive and tries to take over Sheiba's alpha position. This has resulted in a couple of minor fights, but is being worked on. Other than his trouble making every now and then he is your typical Siberian husky! He loves to meet new doggies and loves people! He's a wonderful boy!
