The History Channel doesn't want Katebot

Katie Holmes' eight part TV miniseries "The Kennedys" has been dropped from The History Channel. Katie stars as Jackie Kennedy with Greg Kinnear as JFK.

The 'official' word from the History Channel states that: "...we have concluded this dramatic interpretation is not a fit for the History brand.”

Rumor is that this cancellation was reportedly done due to political pressure from the Kennedy family who were not comfortable with the project coming out. It is now being shopped to other networks and will still air internationally.

...for John Edwards douchey-ness.

John Edwards has asked his mistress and baby mama, Rielle Hunter, to marry him -- just weeks after burying his wife Elizabeth Edwards, who lost a courageous battle to breast cancer.

Elizabeth Edwards, who was married for 33 years to her husband, died of cancer on Dec. 7. It was revealed she left everything in her possession to their three children, leaving her estranged husband out in the cold.

Aniston's got a new man?

Jennifer Aniston may have found a new man in Adrien Brody. I guess she does need something newsworthy about her in order to promote her new movie with Adam Sandler entitled "Just Go With It".

Bullock & Reynolds may be dating...

Sandra Bullock (divorced from her Nazi and tattoo lovin' hubby) and Ryan Reynolds (soon to be divorced from ScarJo) are rumored to be dating... although I am not 100% behind this story. They were evidently good friends, even before filming "The Proposal", so not sure what to make of it yet... BUT, if I were Ryan Reynolds and wanted a rebound, I would've gone with Betty White instead of Sandra Bullock. ;o) Betty rocks!

Longoria-Parker-Cruz

Eva Longoria from 'Desperate Housewives' has enjoyed a string of dates with singer Eduardo Cruz, the younger brother of Penelope Cruz.

A source told America's OK! magazine: "He's there at least three nights out of every four - he turns up and he leaves the next morning. They are trying desperately to stay beneath the radar."

Too juicy to resist

I don't watch any of the "Real Housewives..." series (since we don't get cable), but this blind item and the guess is WAY too juicy to not post:

"This controversial Real Housewives star is about to have some added drama in her life. The tabloids are working overtime to get a bunch of stories about our Housewife and her glory days as a hooker. Not anyone in New York or New Jersey."

All indicators point to Camille Grammar - the ex-wife of Kelsey Grammar (Frasier).

The Face & the Forehead

I was soooooooo hoping it wasn't true, but evidently it's been confirmed that Meg Ryan (what the heck did she do to her face) and John Cougar Mellencamp (where did he get that forehead), who recently left his wife of 20 years, are indeed together. Ick.

I guess the term 'bumping uglies' applies to this couple. :P

Taylor Lautner is busy studying the films of Tom Cruise in a bid to emulate Cruise's career, following advice from director John Singleton.

The "Twilight" star is set to step away from his role as a werewolf in the popular vampire franchise to lead the cast in new action movie "Abduction".

Director Singleton is taking charge of the upcoming movie, and he has been advising Lautner how to carve out a career like his idol Cruise.

Singleton tells the Los Angeles Times, "I told him to watch the transition from Top Gun to Rain Man to Born on the Fourth of July. To think about what he (Cruise) did as a young man and what he did later on. And then think about what you want to do."

One thing he forgot to advise Lautner on is that he needs to join $cientology and marry a kate-bot of his very own.

This song is dedicated to Lindsay

Lindsay Lohan's estranged father Michael has commissioned a singer from the Grammy-winning group All-4-one to write a song dedicated to the troubled actress.

Delious Kennedy has revealed he's agreed to put pen to paper for a tune he calls "My Rose", a dance club track about the Mean Girls star.

Michael Lohan says the song is about a "talented and beautiful young lady who has grown in our hearts, she is badgered by paparazzi, cut down by the media," adding, "She will wilt, but when she falls, I will always be there to pick her up and put her petals back on."

Kennedy, who says he recorded the song last week, gave TMZ.com a preview to the lyrics: "The girl is like a rose garden. She falls back, springs forth and grows stronger with thorns."

It's not the first time the Lohans have aired out family issues in music. Lindsay debuted her own track, "Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father)", back in 2005.
