Arrival Story: **Please be advised** Simon our beloved and most loyal friend of the family passed away on May 24th, 2008 @ 1153 hrs as we were taking him to the vet clinic (post haste) suffering from what we believe was a stroke followed by a masive heart attack. Trust me when I say he will be sorely missed by the family.
"The beginning" One warm spring evening, a very skinny, emaciated, mattie and dirty little (black in color) miniature Sheltie cross male dog w/no collar showed up at our front door. We fed him and he played with our other dog (Buddy; being a (white in color) male Bichon / Shih Tzu cross) like they were the best of friends for years. Then, this little dog left again only to return a short time later once again at our front door. The next day we took this poor little dog to the SPCA as we found a numbered tattoo on his flank. At the SPCA, a history file showed this dog name was Simon. The initial true owners recently got divorced and neither party wanted to take care of Simon at all stating they don't care what happens to him, so the owners, just opened up the front door to let Simon out to wander citywide. How Simon survived the street for some 3 weeks and not being hit by a car in traffic, I can't imagine but as stated, Simon showed up at our doorstep and the rest as they say is history. Simon is a very gentle and kind little dog who can handle all the love one can give him. We call both our pets, Buddy and Simon, "the boys" who truly (and trust me on this when I say) are both treated like royalty. Remember, take care of your pets and they will take give back the same love in return 10 fold! ..........rod e.
Our newest addition as of May 2008 to our family is a male Shetland Sheep dog puppy names Mojo. He is jut the sweetest and very inquisitive for everything and anything and yes he gives Buddy (now 13 + yrs) a run for his money. Mojo loves camping as do we all after which when he gets back home afterwards he has a good power nap and then he's off again as puppy's all do, right!
