She could be very cunning and had a tendency to hide accidents on the darkest areas of the rug.

Arrival Story:
My mother had a friend at the local police station, who was given a male and female maltese picked up in a raid. The female maltese dog gave birth to two puppies, a boy and a girl, and my mother got the female puppy, Mona Lisa.

Bio:
Mona unfortunately passed away in her sleep early Sunday morning, 10/29/2006. She was the one of the sweetest, whittiest, and most intelligent dogs my family has ever had! She also exemplified the role of service dog as she brought joy to many medical patients in need. She lived a long and cherished existence with our family in Rhode Island. That's certainly not to say our family will miss her dearly and there will never be another dog like her!
