Doggie Dynamics:

Quick Bio:

January 1st 2002

Snuggles, sleeping, more snuggles, food, chasing squirrels and birds, scopping all the food out of his bowl to pick out the juicy parts, watching mom sweep the kitchen after I have eaten only the juicy parts, barking at the toilet (see below)

The camera! People that think that I can hear (I am deaf). When Oscar (my brother) steals my fog parts toy, when Oscar knocks me off the bed, the baby gate, oh that darn baby gate!

Favorite Toy:
Frog parts!! When I came to live with my mom i was given a stuffed frog. Of course the frog had no chance. Now I cherish what's left of the frog - the little white cloth that use to make up the underbelly of the frog. I carry it around like a blanky!

Favorite Food:
The juicy parts of Oscar's food.

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere Oscar walks. My goal is to pee anywhere he pees. I used to HATE walks and I was convinced the leash was the DEVIL. But then my (hearing) big brother taught me that walking and the leash wasn't so scary.

Best Tricks:
Sleeping. Being Cute. Getting out of trouble by being cute. Clearing the room ;)

Arrival Story:
My name is Oliver and I am a deaf white face boston with two toned marble blue eyes. Some people think being deaf is a disability... but I never have to listen to my brother, Oscar bark at me and I am great in public because sounds never scare me (unlike my brother oscar which is scared of thunder!). I was abandonded and ended up at the Boston Rescue in TN. My mom drove 6 hours to come get me after just seeing my picture. We immidiatley fell in love! I knew she was my mother from the moment I saw her, so I crawled into her lap and said 'take me home'. I have an older brother, Oscar that tolerates me. He is very different and so immature! ;) He runs around acting like a puppy all hyper and crazy and always wants to play. I would rather snuggle. He has shown me the ropes. I used to be really sacred because I can't hear and all -- but when I am with Oscar I feel pretty safe. We bark at other dogs together, show each other cool places to sniff and lick each others ears if we are feeling especially friendly. He sometimes pushes me over in the bed but I think he is allright. Afterall, it sure is nice to feel safe and warm. Plus, I get one over on him by eating all the juicy kibbles in his food!
