Arrival Story:
A friends family had a pair of registered dogs. She never would sell the puppies but only would give them to very good homes. We were very lucky to be picked. Marcie was very tiny and just barely six weeks old when she came to us.
Bio:
Marcie has always been a sweet puppy. She never was a cuddley girl. The last few years we think she has been having small strokes that have affected her mental status. She will have times where she will stare into space, when she goes outside to potty she sometimes forgets how to get back to the porch where we are waiting on her. The sadest part of it is that since this has started happening she really dislikes me. She loves my husband and follows him around every where. When I try to pick her up she will run to him. If she is appears confused or feels bad, she will let me hold her. Her food bowl and water must always be in the same spot, cleaned and filled. She will bark until everything is in its place! She has had only one groomer except for a short time one year, since she had her first hair cut as a puppy. This is the only person that Marcie will allow to touch her face or give her a bath. When it is time to go to sleep she must have the same corner of the bed each night and make sure that you don't get in her space. If I tell her give mom a kiss and I will leave you alone, she will run over to me and lick my nose one time and run back to her spot.
We just hope she knows we love her and we want to make sure she stays safe and secure.
Pupdate~~~This summer was a hard one for Marcie. She could'nt sleep up on the bed anymore because she would jump off after a little while. She had to go "night~night" in her kennel. Marcie quit giving kisses to anyone. The first part of July was the last time she went to see Mindy at the beauty shop. She now refused to let even Mindy groom her. She was a skinny little girl even though she devoured cookies constantly. Marcie was also have bladder issues. Her daddy and I decided it would be best to help her to rainbow bridge on July 23, 2008 a couple months after her 14th birthday.

Marcie is has been really happy lately! She is bouncing around and asking for cookies! It sure is nice to see her sweet little personality again! She did bite me during bath time, but I was trying to wash her face!!! :)

Marcie is STAFU FDOTD!!! What an honor!!! Thank you for all of the kind words and rosettes. Miss Marcie has been gone for a little over a month and we are still shedding a few tears but, all of the kindness showed to us from our special friends on dogster have helped us work through the extreme guilt and pain we have felt. Words cannot express how greatful I am to have all of you. No one else understands the way you do. Even though many miles separate us, I always know you are just a mouse click away. You really are the best. If I could have it my way, we would all live in the same neighborhood together and have our own private dog park!!!

Our friend Bella Paige from California is missing!!! We need help finding her!!!
She went missing Feb. 3rd at 8p.m. in the Orange/Tustin area of Orange County California.
Bella was wearing a pink collar with a gold heart tag.
She is not microchiped... she was scheduled to be this month.
She is gold and white with a white tail and four white paws.
She is aprox 10 lbs and has a black rubberband in her top knot.

I just don't know what my mom was thinking!?! A border collie!?! Last night Daisy Mae aka Bella was herding me from the kitchen to the living room BOL!!! In my 13 years I have seen numerous animals. Hamsters, g-pigs, cockatiel, rabbits, 2 other cats, a poodle named Abbie and then the siblings I have now. Everytime D.M. aka Bella sees me she almost wags her tail off but, no one has seemed to inform her that I don't play and that no one messes with me!!! I am getting to old to train another one BOL!!!
