Likes: Annie loves to eat cat poop (ick!!)and loves coffee on the front deck in the AM. She also will eat anything that her brother pinter "the bean" will eat
Pet-Peeves: when her mom is at work all day, and when she gets up early for work.
Favorite Toy: loves the mini frisbee, and I can catch it too.. I also swim in the water and fetch it. It's my favorite thing in the world! My mommy thinks I might be part lab. I love to chase it and anything else that my mom or dad throws!
Favorite Food: She loves everything, even ate a rare nautilus shell once. She loves treats too much, and ecspecially loves to eat anything her mom is eating.. She guards Mommies coffee cup in the morning until it cools off and then laps it up, just needs her AM coffee!
Favorite Walk: TO THE BEACH!! (and on kitty chases)
Best Tricks: Rolls on her back for any stranger, snuggles and doesnt want to get out of bed.
Arrival Story: I bought her off a homeless man for $100 when she was very young. She had mites, fleas and was not well. She was 2 lbs and very ill-behaved. I showered her with love and after taking 3 months of being nipped at with her sharp puppy teeth, she settled down. Now I could not imagine life without her!
She is definately a favorite of everyone she meets. I got soo lucky and thank god every day for my girl, Annie.
Bio: Annie is a resident of Two Harbors, Catalina Island.
I never expected you to turn out like this, you have changed my life!
When I first saw you walking down that busy street in Salem, Oregon 2 summers ago, I never even imagined.... Thank god I bought you off that street bum.. I could not imagine my life without you! You are so loyal, affectionate and such a perfect pooch. Everyone that meets you falls in love with you and can't believe how lucky I got. I just wish you would stop eating so much cat poop, you have a full food bowl now (just look at your belly!)and do not live on the streets anymore!
First of all I am awakened by a whistle which means my dad wants to take us all to the beach at sun-up. That makes us all hop out of bed, as mommy sleeps in. We find all kinds of things at the beach when nobody is up. This morning there was a big sea lion and me and my brother and sisters barked and yapped at us and it was snapping back. We ended up chasing it into the water. I think we overwhelmed it. That was fun. Then we ran to the house and jumped back in bed with Mommy. We were all dirty, sandy and wet, and she wasnt very happy. Me and Pinter always try to get the prime spot snuggling with Mommy under the covers. I usually win, but he still worms his way in, and then I snap at him before giving in and letting him in our warm cover tent.
I used to sleep in until almost 8, but now at 7 am Pinter is ready to wrestle and barks until Mommy gets up and gives us our "morning treat".
So....Mommy doesnt like being forced out of bed but its good for her.
Me and my family sit on the deck barking at everyone and everything and annoy our neighbors until Mommy or Daddy comes home and we go "To the Beach!!" Then the cycle repeats itself-
I am always looking for things to eat on the beach whether it be kelp or a ferrel kitty poop. I think its because I used to live on the streets with a bum in Oregon and I was always eating anything I could.
Anyways, thats enough for today. I have had so many treats today, my belly is extra round..my mommy loves me the way I am.
