Long time without letting you know what I am thinking!!

Okay so Mommy has been majorly slacking. Mainly cause she started working, so what did I do......... I started acted up, duh!! First I learned I could jump over the fence. Nothing would stop me, Mommy and Daddy would try to "interupt" my behavior, I even got spanked. It finally took them putting up a hot wire and me hitting it several times before I finally stopped jumping the fence.
That's when I learned to climb trees. Mommy and Daddy didn't like that either and chopped off all the low branches. And they put in a new higher fence.
So now I am digging holes right and left to go see my boyfriend Buster.

I also started doing some doggy obedience training. That's when Mommy and Daddy finally figured out that I do not have all my hearing.
I love my trainer lady, Nancy. She's with Barkbusters. She is so super-duper cool, cause she trains me in my house. She teach Mommy and Daddy how to act with me in my own language though. I am not sure I like that. But me and Mommy get along so much better now. She says its because she sees how cute I am now that I behave like a little lady and not like a heathen. I know sit, stay, and how to walk properly on my leash. I am still working on shake and "verbal recall" whatever that means. Nancy thinks I am so very cute and doesn't understand how anyone could ever be mad with me, she says I am the sweetest little thing. Mommy and Daddy say its because she doesn't live with me and that me pulling on Nancy's heartstrings is further proof I am the spawn of Satan. Nancy says I am not defiant just too happy go lucky!! I like Nancy she takes my side!!
This past weekend Aunt Melissa entered me in the Howl-O-Ween contest at Pet-co. I lost. But I don't care, how often do I spend the entire day at the pet store with my bestest most favoritest aunt in the whole wide world. She buys me lots and lots of loud annoying toys and then laughs when I go running through the house with them. She keeps telling me that she will buy me doggie drums for Christmas. I know she will do cause I am her favorite. She told me so herself.
We went trick or treating the other night. Me, sissy and Sugar got quite a nice little haul too, including doggie biscuits, scooby snacks, chicken nuggets, and vienna sausages!! Yummy those are my favorites!!! The neighbors next door feed them to me when Mommy and Daddy are gone. SSSHHHHH its a secret.

Me, sissy, Mommy and Daddy are going to meet Nancy at the dog park on Sunday!! I am so excited- I can barely wait. I have never been before, Mommy says she never has trusted us to behave before, but if Nancy says we are ready. Mommy says she still a little worried cause we haven't been able to practice much this week. Mommy's been real sick! But I will let you know.

BUSY BUSY DAY

Today I went to PetCo and PetSmart for the very first time!! Mommy says me and Gerdie were a handful without Daddy!! I am smarter than Gerdie, cause she just jumps in the truck and I make Mommy pick me up! Who is the smart one now!!! I told all the pups I saw about Dogster!! Told to join up and look me up! I wonder how many friends I will get!! Doesn't matter.
Mommy got me my own toy- a KONG!! Gerdie doesnt even have a kong. HEHEHE - WHO DOES MOMMY LOVE MORE NOW!!!
All the people there gave me treats and just had to pet me!! I felt so pretty cause they told me so! A couple of them laughed at my sissys curly tail but Mommy told them its just the Basenji in her.
Early today we went on our normal walk- but all of Gerdies friends were home. SO we ended up visiting with them. It just bores me to death. Flamingo Lady didn't like me laying in her flower beds either. They were soft and cool- and it was hot. Jake- Flamingo Lady's Grandson likes me better than Gerdie. While G-thing was visiting he was running me around the yard. OOPS he accidently let go of my leash and I was off and running. Mommy caught me pretty quick though. But at least he let to finish making the yards. My sister is too socialable. A three block walk takes 3 hours with her. Mommy says I need to learn patience. Yeah right- I dont even know what that word means.

I'M SO PRETTY

I feel so pretty today! I got a rosette from Miss Gertie. Not my sissy, Gerdie, but GerTie. YOu see the difference- GerTie gave a rosette to Gerdie as well. Gerdie got three new toys this week, that she just drools over- Dollie- I think is the name. SHe is super excited about them- but like all good sissy's - she shares her toys with me.

You wont believe this

As if the bunny ears were not bad enough. Mommy sinks to a new low.
Gerdie LOVES to be dressed up. At least that what Mommy thinks. Gerdie said she does not mind as long as it makes Mommy happy. Well I am not going to lie still and let her dress me up too. Mommy bought Gerdie a new dress outfit. Guess what - it does not fit her. Mommy said she was going to take it back- but DADDY BETRAYED ME. He told Mommy to put it on me!!!!
I can not believe my own DADDY sold me out. Now I am stuck wearing this outfit!!!!!

Getting Ready For Easter

Mommy says not only do I wiggle I hop like a bunny. SO she bought me and Gerdie some bunny ears to get us ready for Easter. I dont like my ears that much at all... In fact I dont even like them on Gerdie- I tried to even bite them off her head.
But Mommy said I should all my new friends how ready I am for the most famous bunny in the world.

I am all wet

I got my first bath today since I have been with MOmmy and Daddy. Gerdie just got out the bath tub now- and we are chasing each other around the house!!!
I DONT LIKE BATHS!!!!

3 days of rain

Oh what to do except jump in puddles. Gerdie and I have been splasj=hing around the backyard for days now. Mommy and Daddy trusted me and Gerdie in the house alone the other night for the very first time!! They gave us treat when they got back- apparently I was a good girl.
I think Gerdie maybe a chicken- it has been thundering and she keeps running for my spot under the bed or worse for under the futon with the cats. Like the will protect her from the thunder- huh what a joke. I am a brave girl though- I sit right next to Mommy and tough it out.

making life difficult for Mommy

hehehe I am a little stinker, but Mommy says a dog can not help it if they are gassy. Mommy calls SBD's but Daddy always laughs. Somehow I am always next to Mommy and never near Daddy when I drop one.
On Saturday, Gerdie, Mommy and me all watched 101 Dalmations. I really liked it. Mommy says I can be just as smart as Pongo and learn to make coffee too. We liked the movie so much, we told Mommy we wanted 101 Dalmations for ourselves. We compromised, no new dogs is what Mommy said. But she did agree to do her best to find us 101 pup pals that are Dalmations. So if you are one or know one that is not our friend. I beg you to send them our way. Then we can all have a slumber party!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOE IS ME!!!!!!!!!

Two days ago what started off as a road trip with Mommy and Daddy has led to pain and suffering. They took me someplace, where another lady took me by the leash. Minutes later I had shots, my temp taken (you know how unpleasant that is), and they knocked me out. I am not quite sure what happened when I was out, but I woke up with my belly shaved and stitches. The pain was horrible the first night, my poor tummy was so upset. But Mommy and Daddy have been given extra love and attention. Strange thing happened though- Evil 1 licked my head. Mommy says she was "nuturing" me, but I still think its an act. I will keep you updated.

Day 6

HEHEHE- I woke Mommy up!! She got upset quickly when whe found my piddle with her foot!! Oh well, like I know that people do not turn lights on at 3 am when they are woken up!! Whats a dog to do- except wake her up again tomorrow night!!

Life with Gerdie is great!! We are having so much fun.

My Aunt Melissa bought me my very own toy. It looks just like Pookie but bigger and purple. Mommy and Daddy call is PJ- I think they some curse words the other night before they put PJ up. I guess they did not understand why I felt like I should take it to bed. I only squeaked it the minimum I felt it needed. I have not met my Aunt Melissa- but Gerdie says she sends all the good toys!! And gourmet biscuits, too! I have a feeling I am going to love her!!
