Likes: Jess loves her brother, Koda, and sister, Sophie. She loves to be held. And she loves to meet and greet everyone. She also loves to go bye-bye with Mommy.
Pet-Peeves: She does not like to be left alone, especially by Koda. She also does not like to be yelled at.
Favorite Toy: Jess loves her squeaky mini soccer balls. The first thing Jess does when she wakes up in the morning is looks for her soccer ball, and she cannot go to bed without her soccer ball right by her side.
Favorite Food: Jess loves to eat puppy treats.
Favorite Walk: Jess loves the beach. She loves to walk/run in the sand.
Best Tricks: Jess can sit, shake, stand, and stay very well.
Arrival Story: We had adopted her brother, Koda, from the same breeder one year before adopting her. Koda had so much energy that it made us decide to get another dog just for Koda to play with. Unlike the time when we got Koda, we had the first pick of the litter. Jess was the right sex, was the perfect size, and had the perfect colors. Jess was one of three females in a litter of four. Jess was the only brown and white puppy out of the litter. And she was also the runt. Before we got Koda, I had wanted a brown and white tiny female dog. However, since we had last pick of the litter with Koda, we ended up with a black and white male puppy who was the big boy of the bunch (but we stilled loved him at first sight). We feel very fortunate to have such an easy going dog like Jess.
Bio: Jess is a quiet, timid, yet playful dog. She follows her brother, Koda, around much of the time. Jess hardly ever needs to be on a leash. She is very loving. She loves people of all ages. Everyone who meets Jess falls in love with her. Jess loves to play fetch with her squeaky mini soccer balls. It's very hard to leave to go anywhere because Jess stands there looking ever so cute with her mini squeaky soccer ball in her mouth wanting to play fetch. We recently adopted another Shih Tzu, and Jessie thinks that she is the Mommy. Jess loves to go bye-bye with Mommy, and because she is so good, she usually gets to go with Mommy everywhere while Koda and Sophie stay at home. Jess is the perfect dog to take anywhere and everywhere. She has been such a joy and pleasure. We know that she is probably the only dog that we will probably ever have like her so we try to enjoy every moment of her. She needs hardly any discipline and is as sweet as could be. Her only downfall is that she goes to the bathroom in the bathroom.

My litter brother Max and I will be turning four this year. Mommy can't believe how the time has flown by. She is happy that my eye has been doing well since my problem first began two years ago. And she is happy that I have been pretty healthy since then... After we adopted Sophie two years ago, Mommy said she would be the last addition to the family. But a little abandoned kitty jumped out at Daddy at work and has been staying with us ever since. My big brother, Koda, is NOT happy about it at all. And I have to say that I don't really like sharing the spot light with him either. But Sophie, on the other hand, loves to play with the kitty. It's been 2 1/1 months since Daddy and Mommy brought him home, and they still haven't decided what to do with him. If it was up to the dogs, it would be 2 votes to 1 to get rid of him. Mommy & Daddy also keep talking about another addition. I'm not sure what that is all about yet. They haven't brought home anymore animals. And everyone keeps asking Mommy how I am going to handle it. Hmm.. I'll guess I'll have to wait and see about this new addition. For now, I'm looking forward to the fall and all the fun that it will bring, including my birthday, Halloween, and Thanksgiving.
Once again, mommy has been taking me (and Koda and Sophie) walking out at the walking trail. For some reason, she thinks that just because Koda likes to go for walks, I do too. Well she is very wrong. She tried to have me walk around the trail again today, but I stopped until she put my bag down, and then I ran and jumped into my bag. I love being with mommy out at the walking trail, but I would much rather be carried in my bag rather than walk the trail. I prefer staying in my bag whenever necessary or possible. My eye vet allows me to stay in my bag during eye examinations now. And she calls me princess because of it. I can't help it. I didn't ask to be a princess. I was just born one.
Well mommy took me to the eye doctor 10 days ago, and everything is going fine for now. My eye had a 50% chance of healing on its own, and thanks to everyones kind prayers it healed on its own. Mommy and daddy were so happy. And mommy knows that it was all thanks to everyone's prayers. Mommy has been a little busy lately, but she wanted to let everyone know that we are grateful to this great community. We can't say thanks enough. XOXO Jesserbelles and mommy
