Bio:
No, Belle is NOT named after the main character in a Disney movie. My husband and I made a deal: I could get a poodle IF and ONLY IF he got to name her. And he was determined to name her after a player on his fantasy baseball team. After I vetoed his plan to name our female poodle "Edgar" (after Edgar Martinez of the Seattle Mariners), we eventually decided to name her after several of his players: Ronnie Belliard, Carlos Beltran, Mark Bellhorn, Rob Bell, and Milton O'Bell Bradley.
