RIP buddy

Sad days ahead

During Cyber's recent trip to the vet. he weighed in at 103 pounds. He had usually been at around 116, but not overweight. The vet. explained that he was losing muscle mass in his hips and rear legs. Typical for a Lab of his age, but still hard to hear.

I bought him some dog booties from NeoPaws (excellent company by the way), so his rear legs won't give out from under him when he walks, and I will be starting him on Glucosamine and Duralactin, in the hopes of making him more comfortable.

He is otherwise happy and healthy, but I can't bear having him live life with wheels for rear legs, which is what I foresee in his future. I have some hard decisions ahead of me.

Hang in there buddy... I'll do what I can.
