Arrival Story:
I got Pepper for my 14th birthday, she was a surprise and I was ecstatic - I'd been bugging my parents for months for my own dog and they finally took the hint!

Bio:
Pepper was my best friend and fellow explorer in the wheat fields around my home while I was growing up. She was with me through thick and thin. She was with me during my first marriage and when my daughter (now 23) was born. She was with me when my husband left me, then SHE left me 5 years later. When it became apparent that Pepper was having age-related health problems that became to overwhelming to her, I brought her to the vet one last time and I said good-bye to my first dog, my first love, my very best friend. I still miss her, although it has been 16 years. She is always in my heart, and will be forever...Rest in Peace, beautiful girl...you earned it...
