Arrival Story:
My mommy was looking for a female golden retriever to give to my dad as a present. She saw my picture on the Apple Valley Shelter website, that’s where my previous family left me because I was too happy (they used a different word for my happiness, I think the word they used was…Hyper.) Anyways, I sat at this shelter for 3 weeks and no one wanted me, so this awful lady that worked there told me that I had a doctors appointment the next day, (I overheard the shelter people saying I was to be euthanized) I was very sad, depressed; So the next morning I was sitting there waiting to go on my Docs appointment and I saw my potential mommy, she was crying when we meet, it was love at first sight! I know it! We played for about 30 minutes, and she adopted me. The awful lady told my mom that because I had a cannel cough I had to stay to get treated for it, and it wouldn’t cost my mom anything, but my mom told the awful lady that she couldn’t leave me there, that she wanted to take me home. And so she did. When my dad came home from work that night he had a big smile on his face, I jumped all over him. He gave me a bath. It was Fun! The next day mom and dad took me to the Vet, the Vet gave me some medications, he also told my parents that they were very lucky. I agree!
