Arrival Story:
I went to the animal shelter and there were two puppies left from a litter of eight. I chose the orange one that was sitting calmly rather than the one that was running back and forth nipping.
Bio:
Lily is 11 years old, adopted from the animal shelter near Pembroke, Ontario, as a puppy. She has renewed zest for life because we brought home a kitten for her which she adopted as her puppy. She hates cats but this kitten has never been referred to as a cat but rather as a "kitty-puppy". She loves her new partner in crime!

Sadly, our beloved Lily has passed on. She died Sept.3-07 just 2 months before she would have turned 13. Thankfully she was sick for only one day. We were with her at the end and told her how much we loved her. She is in heaven now and not in any pain, and I am sure she has a special place there.
