Leave a bone for GiGi (in Loving Memory - 2004)

Nicknames: Beautiful Angel

Quick Bio:
Likes: Gigi sure liked her food and comfy pillows to climb all over and arrange just so to sleep on. She was always finding new soft places to pose and be queenlike. She loved babytalk and gentle, reassuring caresses and Mommy's crazy songs at mealtimes!

Pet-Peeves: She was not fond of exercise, or for that matter any kind of potentially calorie burning movement.

Favorite Toy: If it wasn't edible, she was not interested!

Favorite Food: Peanut Butter!

Arrival Story: She was adopted along with her half-brother from a cocker rescue service in 2003. We only had her for a short year and a half. Boy were we blessed! She was unmistakably an angel. She was guardian to her half-brother Duffy and now it's up to us to see that he gets all of the love and care that he deserves. They are both the sweetest, most delightful beings.

Bio: 10/22/04 I am heartbroken to report that Gigi has gone back to be with the other angels for other tasks. She must have accomplished what she needed to here on earth this go round. She was diagnosed on Monday, 10/18/04 with Chronic Active Hepatitis (Liver Disease) and a host of other serious gastro problems. We are still in a state of shock. Please say a little prayer for this gentle, quirkly little lady who has given us so much. This is my first dog with serious health issues at a young age, so it's pretty rough to deal with. Gosh we love her so deeply.
A very unusual personality. Gigi loved to watch the world around her and we would catch her posing like a little black marble statue, staring at us. She was jet black and didn't photograph well, but she was a very feminine funny little angel. My favorite image of her was when she sat on the tiny (much smaller than her butt) cloth footrest on the sling chair. And having her soft, warm tubby body on my stomach while I was on the hammock. We fancy her as sort of a pudgy canine Gidget. I believe she came into our lives to ensure that her brother Duffy had a good home and to teach us to laugh and relax and more good stuff.... I will ADORE HER for eternity.
