"No Sir!", Traditional 9-5 hours, vacuums, vinegar, Neo-Cons, and not being able to get at the cat, who is older and wiser.
Favorite Toy:
SOCCER BALL!!!!!!!!! And anything that looks or sounds like it might really be alive...especially squeaky toys and furry stuff.
Favorite Food:
Lamb and Rice, frozen peas and apples, dental Greenie bones, canine carryouts he gets at training class, and pretty much anything at all that we're eating.
Favorite Walk:
Twin falls at the Greenbelt, or playing in the water at Zilker.
Best Tricks:
He's the best defensive soccer player I've ever seen. He will not let you score! Other than that, his best trick is being mischevious and cuter than all get out.
Arrival Story:
(Translated from the ancient language of Canine, "I came to know my current guardians vis a vis the passing of an unknown canine friend, Nixon. Nixon was only 7 weeks old and died from congenital failures due to his previous owner's gross negligence. Mom and Dad did what they could, but alot of love and the best medicine on the planet could not save him. Mom and Dad had a tough run of bad luck and knew I was the herder to shepard good fortune into their lives. Things are turning around. I think they're in love... I know I am."!
Bio:
Huxley plans to matriculate to Exmoor University in the Fall and will major in Behavioral Dynamics and Kinetics, with a minor in Flyball... unless the Search and rescue people get to him first.
Update August 2004: Huxley recently graduated at the top of his class from Puppy Kindergarten and Beginners Basic Dog Training at Exmoor School for Dogs. He has since returned to Exmoor as a demo dog for new classes. He will begin his twelve week AKC Canine Good Citizen training class in September 2004. GO HUXLEY!

Tomorrow, January 22, 2005, is my 1st birthday! My new brother Beckett (a Queensland Blue Heeler) and I are going to eat a cake from the groovy dog bakery! We are going to wear doggie birthday hats and mommy and daddy are going to take lots of pictures to show all our pet pals!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait for my first birthday party!
Wish you all could be here with us in Austin!

Boy am I exhausted! My mom and I just got finished playing soccer, so I am tuckered out! It's a hot one today, too. I am seriously looking forward to a nap and waking up to the other half of that Corgi Cannoli that my parents brought back for me from the Three Dog Bakery in New Orleans. I'll admit I've been on a bit of a sweets binge ever since they got back on Monday night, but hey-I'm young. What can a little doggie indulgence hurt anyway? Well, I'm just about to nod off...I'll write more later about the cool people who dogsat me over the weekend...It's a great story!
