A blanket to take a nap on, chewie biscuits- Sparkie isn't really interested in toys but if you give him a paper towel he will shred it to pieces in seconds.

Favorite Food:
Sparks is quite the carnivore- he goes crazy for chicken bits and steak. He also loves popcorn, spaghetti-o's and pastries

Wherever Dudley goes

Arrival Story:
Sparkie was rescued from a collector's home. There were 30+ jack russells and chihuahuas living in terrible conditions. Sparkie was one of the few that could be saved. He had some terrible health problems stemming from malnutrition and lack of proper care. The group that rescued him really went out on a limb to save him. When I read his story and saw his sweet face I knew he would be perfect for our family. We already had Dudley who we adopted from a shelter and he was, and still is a very sensitive, affectionate little guy. We couldnt bring a dog in that might intimidate him. He had come so far in trusting us and feeling safe in his home. When Duds and Sparks met I knew they would be best buddies forever. Sparkie has a habit of licking Dudley's ears and eyes to the point of annoyance and Dudley has a habit of leaping right on top of Sparkie after the prime spot on the bed or couch-but there isn't a day that goes by that I don't notice how sweet they are togehter. I believe that they both understand each other's difficult past and are just happy to be together and loved and spoiled! We feel so lucky to have Sparkie in our family. He is about the sweetest little angel I have ever known.
