Arrival Story:
We lost Molly to lymphoma this summer. Our hearts are still broken. My 12 year old Shepherd, Sadie, has to be PTS October 18, 2005 when her spleen flipped due to a tumor. We weren't going to get another dog right away. A member of a dog board I belong to was waiting for me to say I was ready to have a dog in my life again and she offered me one of her foster pups. Problem was Molly was in MI and we are in NH!!! But we got her here. Molly's mom was a stray GSD found when it was time for her pups to be whelped. Mom went right into foster care where she remained, with her pups, until she was adopted shortly after her pups were weaned. The pups took a bit longer to find homes as their foster mom was very strict about the homes they went to. I was (and still am) honored she considers my home to be one she trusted.

Bio:
We don't know Molly's full heritage but it is believed both parents were purebred Shepherds. All the pups look it and their personalities are Shepherd to a tee. I foster for Siamese Rescue out of Virginia and Molly is absolutely wonderful with all of the foster cats. It's great being able to determine if a foster can go live with dogs, and after having Molly around adoring them they learn that not all dogs are out to get them.
