Arrival Story:
I got Sugar working at the SPCA in New Orleans. She was a cruelty case--her owner had beaten her as a puppy with sticks and broke her hips. We took her in and fixed her up, but she was very hard to adopt out as she was afraid of people. I took her home to show her some love and never took her back.
