Arrival Story:
We had to put our beloved chow-golden retriever mix down in October. Her name was Harper Lee and she was 16.5 years old. We were heart broken and said we would never get another dog but the loneliness set in and we longed to feel the fluff of chow fur. I began doing research and found a breeder in Toledo. We were only going to get chowder but then decided two would be fun. They are a trip!
Bio:
Chapter Two was named such because she is chapter 2 of our life with a dog. Chowder Lee got her name because she is a "chow" and because she is the color of clam chowder. The Lee part was in honor of our first dog "Harper Lee" . She and Chowder looked a bit alike as puppies.
