Arrival Story:
I first met my Mommy and Daddy on November 23, 2002. They had come to look at me, and see what I was like. Mommy fell in love with me instantly. I guess that's beacuse I'm soo darn cute, and I like to give LOTS of kisses! Well, Daddy wasn't to far behind. As soon as he picked me up, I stretched my little neck up and started kissing him on the nose. After that, they took me with them to Wal-Mart, where they bought me a new collar and a toy all my own. When we Finally got home, I got to meet my new girlfriend and mate Belle. She's a mini too! She's HOT! Tee hee hee!

The name's William Cody Walsh, but everyone calls me Cody. I live with my parents,my girlfriends (Belle & Cookie) and my daughter (Ruby) in Piney Flats, TN. I'm an easy going kinda guy and I love to snuggle. When it's time for bed, I DON'T PLAY. I can't wait to burrow under the covers and snuggle! I have no preferance when it comes to toys. I LOVE THEM ALL!!

Well y'all. It was my first public event and I had a blast! There were almost 30 other weiners there and I finished 2nd in the race, and 1st in the Go-To-Ground competition!!! Mommy kept telling me Saturday night how very proud of me she was and giving me treats! They even put my picture in the paper!! Well, they didn't list my name as being in the picture, but if any of you get the Bristol Herald Courier, I'm in the very bottom picture, on the left side, on the front page of the region section. Yep! That's me! I also posted a picture that my Mommy's friend took of me during one of my heats. I'm the one in the front with the white band on. Look at me GOOOO!! I don't care what they say, 2nd is okay by me! But I'll get'm good next year!!!

Guess what ya'll! My mommy heard about some dachshund races coming up the 16th of June at the Pet Partners in Bristol Virginia. All she has to do now is wait for the email so she can register me, and then the training begins!! I can't wait! Wish me luck, and if your in the area, come on by & join the fun!!
