Chevy is mine and Jag is my mom's dog. Both were found on Petfinder. Chevy (Ese) was adopted in Woodbury by me and Jag was adopted near Sauk Rapids or St. Cloud by my mom.

Bio:
The kids get along pretty good but they didn't use to. Jag use to be really dominant & aggressive and that she would boss Chevy, me, my mom, and my dad too much but she has lightened up a bit. And Chevy wants to play with Jag and he gets the best of her now! They love to go for a ride but Jag doesn't want to get out of the Jimmy so she just lays down and looks at you. Seems like she is saying "No way, I'm getting out now!" I call them kids because I got it from the movie Eight Below and I love that movie. If you want to go see it, you better bring a box of tissues with you. I will be getting more "kids" later......of course!!!!

Boundry Water Trip!

August 18th 2007 10:50 pm   [link to this entry]

We took the kids on a Boundry water trip to the BWCAW in northern Minnesota. This was Jag's first trip and Chevy's second. They really enjoyed themselves swimming the waters of Ensign lake. The weather was hot and humid, much like it is at home, but at night it was windy and slightly cooler.

Chevy got to sleep in the tent with me, like the last trip, while Jag sleeped comfortably outside. She was pretty content until the wind picked up and got really windy. She started to whine and cry outside, but she then curled up under the tarps where the wind was blocked.

The last night, we finally got to hear some wolves howling. Jag didn't even look up but continued to lay curled up sleeping. Where as, Chev looked up when the howling started and just stared towards the source. He didn't growl or while but merely had his ears erected in their direction. They seemed to be right across the lake. We were on an island.

Well I think they want to go back.

The Vet!

March 10th 2006 7:37 am   [link to this entry]

March 9th 8:30AM-

Chevy had a Vet check up Thursday mourning in Willmar and Jag came along for the ride. Chevy did really good and behaved really well and alot better than the dog in the other room! Very loud & crying the whole time.
Chevy did so well that I took him to Walmart and got him some treats and raw hides to chew on and Jag got her share too!
We stopped by at my mom's work in Willmar too. She was pleased that Chevy did well adn that Jag came along like it were a Holiday!
Well his checkup went well and he gained some weight, which is good! He will need some dental work but nothing major. They said its very common for a dog 5 years and older.
I'm very proud of my well behaved boy and Jag well....she's working on it! :)
