Quick Bio:
-purebred

Birthday:
April 28th 2001

Likes:
Licking people's hands ("hand cream cones") and faces, belly rubs, snuggling up with people on the couch, playing fetch, and sticking her head out the window during a car ride. She also loves to do the infamous bichon run around the house!

Pet-Peeves:
She gets cutely aggressive when a stranger walks in "her" territory or when she doesn't get a pee-pee treat. Zoe also sulks after she gets groomed or left home alone for a while.

Favorite Toy:
A stuffed puppy named Joey, who everyone is surprised she hasn't destroyed yet.

Favorite Food:
People food, especially beef burgundy, ham, and "chick-chick."

Favorite Walk:
The park, or anywhere else with lots of smells. She can't walk for more than two feet without having to give the place a thorough sniff-down!

Best Tricks:
She can sit like a kangaroo! It's adorable. Sometimes she will also give you "paw" if you stick out your hand.

Arrival Story:
My sister wanted a bichon, and after months of begging, my dad reluctantly searched the newspaper for breeders. Even though my sister wanted a female bichon, Dad called a breeder who was only advertising male puppies. The breeder admitted to having one female puppy that she wanted to keep, so we visited the house and fell in love with that puppy immediately. The owner and my family connected on a number of bizarre levels--we had both just bought the exact same refrigerator, the men both participated in the Spina Bifida golf tournament, and oddly enough, my sister was 11 1/2 years old, the same year the owner's sister was when she passed away. When we told the breeder that we were considering naming the puppy Chloe, Trixie, or Zoe, she was literally sold. Those were the same names that she had been considering! We brought Zoe home on a stormy summer day and our lives were changed forever. My mom has especially derived great joy from Zoe. We never would've guessed that a dog could be such a perfect addition to the family!
