Arrival Story:
We wanted a companion for our other Italian Greyhound. We checked out Italian Greyhound Rescue and filled out an application to adopt one of their dogs who needed a home. The rescue rep screeded us and matched us with Belle. When we met her, it was instant love. She has not only been the perfect companion for our other Italian Greyhound, she has dazzled us, entertained us, and devoted herself to protecting our home. She is quite a beauty. Thank goodness for Italian Greyhound Rescue.
Bio:
Belle loves to eat. We have to exercise her every day so that she does not get fat. Now she expects at least one walk per day and if we don't feel like it, she reminds us by sitting in front of us and barking until we take her. She loves to snuggle and she sleeps under the covers with us every night. She also fetches and plays tug of war with her favorite stuffies. A bouncing ball is so much fun for her and she will play ball forever. The best thing about her is that she plays with our other Italian Greyhound. It is so much fun watching them chase each other and play tug of war with their many toys. They also curl up and sleep together all close and snuggly. It is so cute to see them snuggled together.
