Arrival Story:
Me and my sister had been searching the web for a "friend for Copper" and my parents must have finally gave in. My dad wanted a hunting dog because Copper was very gun shy (or passivist as my mom says who does not like hunting). While I was at camp my parents got wind of a Brittany that was being fostered nearby and desperatly needed a home. I, of course, was up for any dog so when i got home we took Copper to the beautiful farm he was at to see if they got along. Copper was obviously dominate from the start but they got along fine. My mom thought it was destiny since his name was Caper (Caper and Copper have that rhyming thing). He came home with us and the next days were horrible because Caper did not want to give in to Copper's dominance. Everything worked out of course, except that Copper picked up some bad behavior from him :) ... see jumping on door when guests arrive.

Bio:
Caper was a "discounted" dog because he has epilepsy (however you spell that) were he could have seizures so he takes special medicine. He also a a plate in one of his back legs because at the place where he lived before he was given up to the Rescue, he supposedly fell from somewhere on to concrete. That is yet to be proven. :/ That brings me to his old home that i was just talking about. They kept him in a basement most of the time he was there (and we got him at 5 years old, long time). I forget the reason they said, maybe because he was hyper. Well, when he got to his foster home he had almost no muscle and was so excited to get outside. The lady says every day he would run more and more laps around the yard just for fun. So he is our success story, now a very good hunter for my dad.
