I hate moving from the bed to the couch when Mom leaves for work... but she can't trust me upstairs alone all day. I don't blame her. I also hate baby gates... they scare me. They make too much noise when they fall. How come the cats don't get scared?

Well... a lot has gone on since I last wrote in my diary. Let's see now... I have a new foster brother, Romulus. He is actually my real birth brother, same litter and all. I know, I know, we look nothing alike (big tan guy pictured with me in my main picture), but I swear we were born only minutes apart! He is super big... at least 170, but Mom tells everybody 160. He is my new best friend. He is super cuddly and loves to lie on the couch. Mom thinks sometimes he is too cuddly, but I keep telling her, "He just wants to be loved!" As for me, well I am recovering from cranial cruciate surgery on my left hind leg. The doctor said it runs in my family... Romulus had both his knees fixed already. She said I will eventually need surgery on my other knee. I hope not! My knee is getting better, but I am still limping a little. Mom thinks I don't need to limp, that I am being dramatic... just because I run and jump around the house without a limp sometimes. Mom doesn't know what she is talking about. So, I guess that's it for now... Oh yeah, it's been super hot and humid in Philly... yuck I hate the thunderstorms and the 4th of July fireworks! Woof!

Well, my foster sister went to her new home a couple weeks ago... She stopped by to visit yesterday, and she said she is doing great. She is making new friends and loves her new home. Mom was worried I would miss her, but I don't really. I am happy she is happy. Mom and I did a good thing giving her a home for the summer. Yay to Mom and me!
