This dog actually belongs to my neice who went through voluntary rehab 6 months ago for alcoholism. She had nowhere to leave her dog and cat where she felt like they would be loved and taken care of. I volunteered to keep them until she could get on her feet and find a new place to live. It has been 6 months and she's doing great and has plans to have a new place sometime in June. We will miss Lulu but will also be happy when she and Lauren are reunited. She is a house dog and it has been quite an adjustment for us to have a dog this large inside...she and Inky (our chihuahua) LOVE each other, so that is a blessing. Lulu is the sweetest girl and really wants to be a lap dog, too!
Bio:
On Sept. 1, 2006, Lauren (Lulu's mom) lost her battle with Borderline Personality Disorder and took her own life. She is sorely missed by her human family, her cat Chloe and her precious Lulu. Lulu has found a forever home with Ross, Lauren's wonderful boyfriend and Chloe is with Lauren's mom and dad. Lulu and Chloe expect to see their mom again someday, over the bridge. Rest well, little girl.
