Arrival Story:
I was painting with a group which included a man who used to bring his Jack Russel Terrier each week. I often joked that, if he didn't want his lovely dog at any time , I would take her. One day he asked my husband and I if we would like a little dog like his. There was a pup that had come into the S.P.C.A. rescue centre where his wife worked as a volunteer. This dog was nearing it's time limit to find a home and she was determined that it wouldn't be put down, even if she had to take it herself. They already had two dogs and he did not want a third. We agreed to take the pup. Chris made a little cage and we drove down the peninsular to pick it up. When it appeared it was twice the size we expected and we had to double the size of the cage.
Bio:
Pippin has proved to be the most wonderful companion with a beautiful nature.....but she is NOT a Jack Russel Terrier. She is now 8yrs old and still very lively. We love her to bits.
