Arrival Story:
-->As soon as I found out that I could have a dog (we lived in an apartment before we moved), my dad and I went to dozens of humane societies and shelters looking for a friend to take home. Finally, on a rainy Wednesday afternoon, we spotted a energetic chihuahua mix named Oscar, barking around in his kennel. After watching the way he barked, it seemed like he knew his territory! We had seen him in the same kennel the previous week, and there was a family standing outside, apparently ready to adopt him. A man was even trying to place a collar around him! I was surprised to see him there, and we were able to get acquainted with him before we adopted him. ____+_______________________________ OSCAR's WEBSITE is: http://www.myoscar.tk _________________+__________________ PLEASE VISIT!! _______________________________+____

Bio:
-->When we first adopted him, he was VERY uncomfortable being with or seeing another dog. Even one glance or sound of another dog would send him into a barking frenzy! Unfortunately, he still isn't able to be with other dogs, but a miracle happened when we took him to my aunts house. He began interacting with my cousin's little pomeranian, and they started playing! I thought I would never see a day when my Oscar would be with another animal without freaking out. Otherwise, he is such a affectionate and spunky dog around my family and I. Everytime a famliy member comes over, he seems to recognize them, as if he knows they are no threat to us. Everytime I see him when I come home from school, I can trully see the happiness in him! It is amazing how much personality a dog can have. He sometimes reminds me of a little boy always looking for someway to have fun! Oscar is my second dog, and the last time I had one was when I was five. ver since I moved from Hawaii about 7 years ago, I couldn't own any pets larger than a hamster, because we resided in apartments. After we moved at the beginning of seventh grade, the first thing I wanted was a dog. I am SO glad that I found Oscar, and I would never choose to replace him, despite his unfamiliarity with other dogs. He has brought so much happiness us, and the only thing I wish is that he receives as much joy as he has given me! ____+_______________________________ Tricks: He can do the basic things most dogs can do: sit, stay, roll over(he rolls on his back and brushes his paws on his nose!) ________________+___________________ Signature Move: Walking on his hind legs! _______________________________+____
