Arrival Story:
Izzy's mom found him on a website called petfinder.com. She and his dad immediately fell in love with his picture and she went to the shelter in Gloucester, MA to adopt him. Izzy and his three brothers were rescued in Puerto Rico and flown up to the shelter in Massachusetts. Izzy's mom fell in love with him immediately and brought him home. He was 10 weeks old. They have since relocated to Los Angeles where Izzy lives with his mom and his dad, who he loves very much.

Bio:
Izzy is a "sato." It is Puerto Rican slang for "mixed breed street dog." There are so many strays in Puerto Rico that volunteers from "Save a Sato" have been going down there and rescuing these dogs. A lot of shelters in the New England area and some other states that have some extra room take in these satos and find loving homes for them.
