Arrival Story:
After death of beloved "Bear" we saw 7 month old Jasper on a www rescue page. We drove from NYC to Charleston, SC to meet Jasper and the wonderful people who took the time and effort to take care of him.

Bio:
Likes dogs and people, never barks at home, fearless of noises, likes to greet visitors at the door and loves to swim. He expects to go on all of our Car trips - and does. He will chase the stick but doesn't retrieve ( "Why should I give this stick back to you? You'll just throw it away again - you obviously don't want this silly stick. I'll just chew on it for awhile.") The only time he will bark is if he has a squirrel up a small tree or in a precarious looking spot on a fence. Then he only barks to frighten the squirrel into making a wrong move. When he catches a squirrel (and he is very good at doing so) we tell him to "drop" he will release the squirrel right away. After doing some research we think he may have some" Lewellin" in him, he certainly has that body type, but we will never know.
