Arrival Story:
She came home to us on March 30, 1995 after seeing her at the pet store (the pet store got her from a local breeder in my town. So she's not from apuppy mill.) I begging my parents to buy her. They said they couldn't afford a dog that expensive. So when we got home I pointed out the 5 gallon Sparklets bottle that was an 1/6 full of change and proceeded to dump it out. I counted the change and put it in rolls for two days. And when I was all done I was $200 short so they then decided I could get her for a graduation present. We then drove to the pet store with all the rolled up change consisting of $500 and they charged the remainder onto there credit card and then I went home with my new puppy.

Bio:
I passed away peacefully in my mother's arms on May 12th at 12:30pm. Just two days before my Mom's 29th Birthday. I was cremated on May 24 and was brought home on May 29th(Memorial Day). Since April 15th I began suffering from an Upper Respitory Infection. It hit me hard and has caused me to have trouble with my Equalibrium. I first began tilting my head and falling to my right side. Then my eyes began darting back and forth as if I was spinning. My Mommy has to carry me everywhere. I then began doing face plants into the fire place and falling into the bushes outside. My Mommy took me to the Vet and had blood tests done. My Vet thought I had a Stroke and found that I have a Urinary tract infection and a mild heart condition. My Mom did reseach on the internet recently and found that I suffer from Vestibular Disease. My Mom shared her findings with my vet and she agrees that I have this disease which has to do with the inner ear and my nervous system. I was put on stronger antibiotics. I have all the syptoms of the disease and recovery time could take up to 3 months. Everyday I have progressively gotten worse to the point where I can't even sit up. I just lay there. When my Mom picks me up to carry me outside to relieve myself I hang like a rag doll. I can't stand or even lift my head. Night time is the hardest, I tend to relapse due to the darkness. My Mom took me to the Vet today thinking today was the day I was going to cross the "Rainbow Bridge". I was carried into the office and was immediatly carried to the back and was put on an I.V. I will stay in the hospital for a few days till Friday May 12th and will find out if I'll make it through this or not. I'm a very sweet affectiant 65 lb. lap dog. I have never met a person or a Cat I didn't like. I am the Alpha dog in the family and can be very stubborn. I have learned to be submissive with age and training. When I was younger I hated all dogs I didn't know. But now that I've matured I can get along fine with other dogs. I especially love other friendly Boxers and will literally kiss them for hours. I adore my new little sister "Mia", she is truly my best friend. She has brought me to life. Otherwise I'd still be a couch potatoe. I play like a puppy and am very gengle with her. I have even learned to share a plate of food with her which I was never able to do in the past. I think the death of my best friend "Dreyfuss" and the arrival of "Mia" has made me become more friendly with other dogs.
