Arrival Story:
Dakota was first found in a pet shop (I know, I know I shouldn't buy from pet shops but I couldn't resist). He was one of three that were put in a crate and when I called, "Puppy, puppy, puppy," Dakota was the only one who came to me. From then, I knew he would be a great dog who listens and one smart mutt (for his own good, sometimes).
Bio:
Dakota is thought to be a re-incarnation of my father who passed away 10 months earlier. He helps bring the laundry to the laundry room, he brings in the newspapers, he watches his sick ferret brother so Bandit doesn't fall down the stairs or gets "lost" in the house and Dakota keeps us company. Dakota will even help carry garden tools to be put away (if it's not too heavy for him). Dakota even has his own Web site.
