Arrival Story:
My partner and I wanted a gentle dog that wouldn't try to bully our three cats. While taking a walk in the park one morning, we met a neighbor who had purchased her Golden Retriever through a local breeder. Her dog was sweet as molasses, prompting us to call the breeder and set up an appointment. Our pup, Toby, was one of nine dogs in the litter. He made eye contact with us immediately, and kept his eyes locked on us. Some might have found this disturbing, but we were charmed.
