Arrival Story:
In July of 2000, I was at a festival with a good friend of mine and they had a rescue group there. I had one dog at home that I thought needed a playmate (little did I know Sherbert would have been fine as an only child). So I took Rocky home. He was heartworm positive and going through treatment so we had to be very careful with him. During the first week, his onriness started to show. One day while on the couch, I laid my head on his butt and he turned around and bit me right in the head. When I turned to him and told him no, he ran from me and started barking at me. As time went on, I realized this was his form of playing.
