Arrival Story:
Babe is a rescue from the local Humane Society. She intially had a great start to life with an elderly woman, but unfortunately she had to be given up. Babe was adopted out once before we adopted her, and during that time was when she was abused. My husband and I wanted a large breed dog, so began our search. We found Babe. She looked so scared and lonely at the shelter and I knew she was the one after my heart. After two weeks of visiting her everyday, she was finally brave enough to come into our home. It took a few weeks of lots of love and positive reinforcment before she realized she would never be hurt again, ( the time spent is so well worth it). Babe has been with us for over 3 years now and many more years to come..

What a busy week I have had! I have been doing alot of playing and sleeping!
I went on a car ride to PetSupermarket today! I love going there and seeing all the toys and all the FOOD!!! Boy, they sure have alot of that! It makes me sooo hungry! My mommy bought me some new doggie shampoo and I get to try it out in the morning. I just love bath time! Well, goodbye for now, my naptime pillow is calling! Woof! Babe

My mommy loves me so much, she wanted to show me off..I was more than happy to help, besides, when I sit real pretty I get a nice bone to munch on. It is a beautiful day here in Florida, I went outside for a little while and layed out in the sunshine and played with my family and bugged some of the fish in the pond, (now that was funny). My mommy took some more pictures of me for all to see. Nap time, goodbye for now.. Babe
