Arrival Story:
Nine years ago,My husband and i had decided it was time to get a family dog. We already had a 5 yr old daughter and wanted her to grow up with a pet. We searched several weeks and several different humane societies and rescue services. I asked for some info on any online sites to see more pets, and discovered that the county we lived in had a web site, as they did not have a building to house the pets, they are all in foster homes. While viewing their site, i came across Belle's picture and i knew from the minute i saw her, that she was to be part of our family. We adopted her and we all get along great.

Bio:
Belle's History as we have been told by Scott/Carver Humane Society, Born Feb 99, raised by a family with 3 boys, they thought she may of been raised with another dog, but where not sure. Family had to let her go when one of their sons developed allergies. Too bad for that family, but great for ours. Belle just adores men that have beards, (which explains why she is so attached to my husband), but she is equally affectionate with myself and our daughter. She is very submissive with people, but she has to be top dog, when it comes to other dogs, so walks can be real interesting if others are out with their dogs. The vet suggested with use a gentle leader and she usually behaves with this on. We love her no matter what, she is now a part of our family.
