She does a great imitation of Cujo, the rabid dog, when people knock on the door, and then she can magically vanish when the door opens.

Arrival Story:
I sometimes foster puppies for our local humane society. Zeeda and her family were living as a feral dog pack on an abandoned farm. They were removed and euthanized by Animal Control, but because Zeeda was so young, we thought she may be rehabilitated. I worked with her for several months and she was placed for adoption. She was adopted by three different families and never settled down or bonded with any of them. She managed to escape from her third family and ran loose on their 20 acre property for several weeks before they called us for help. I drove out to see if I could coax Zeeda back inside for them. She heard my car, chased me down the driveway and jumped in. I came to realize that I was stuck with her. No matter how hard I tried or how many classes I forced Zeeda to attend, she is terrified of all things human, with the exception of my husband and me. She LOVES mom.

Bio:
For all of Zeeda's flaws and neurosis, she is actually a pretty good girl. She housebroke with ease and has never chewed or destoyed any household items. Although she is terrified of people, she has never shown any aggression. She panics, wets herself, and makes every possible attempt to escape, but she will not growl or snap. She also has a special gift of being able to make friends with any dog or cat regardless of their temerament. She would be a dream dog if only she was friendly.
