Arrival Story:
We were very fortunate to have found Bailey on the rescue listing. We were thoroughly interviewed, passed our onsite home inspection, and picked her up from her Yreka foster parents. She is a very sweet girl who has had lots of life experiences in her two years prior to joining our family.

Bailey (FKA Roxy) was hit by a car, breaking her hind legs, and turned in to be put down. A kind vet saved her and put her up for adoption through Forever Pets in Redding. She (now Bailey) proved to be too much dog for her new family, and she was returned to Forever Pets and placed with a loving foster family. And here her story with us begins...

A Lab's Life

It's a Tough Life!

Dear Diary,
Isn't life tough?

I discovered that there are many things to do! You have to watch the house (bark at strangers), play, eat, and most importantly sleep! Plus I can't get 1 minute of sleep because both of the human pups are playing with my ears and my face. The toughest part is the sleeping thing. First I start to watch my eye lids and then I'm dreaming in lala land in a meadow prancing around and chasing balls and eating kibbles. It gives me a real workout!! Every dog (especially a lab) should know that. When I wake up (probably from human annoyance) my tongue is all the way out and I'm practically sweating! Harr... Harr... Harr!

I'm kinda tired from all this typing stuff (especially without those opposable thumbs)... ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzz.
