Arrival Story:
Gracie is from South Central L.A. Her mom was stolen from her owner and was bred with some gangster dogs, who were going to train her to be a bad girl. The owner found out who stole his dog, and Gracies mom was returned to her good home. My friend worked in a restaurant with Gracies owner and he just wanted to find good homes for the puppy pits - so lucky me - I got GRACIE for free!
Bio:
When Gracie was 1 1/2 years old she unfortunately got out of the yard and was hit by a car - on her way back home after seeing a dog across the street she just wanted to play with for a few minutes. Sadly, after 9 months of therapy - swimming every other day religiosly with her little swim vest, Gracies paralyzed leg did not heal and we decided the best thing to do was amputate her front leg. She healed wonderfully and gets along just awesome - keeping up with the fastest dogs on the beach! Gracie gets to come to work with me everyday, so she is very spoiled and cant be left alone. She either goes everywhere with me or hangs out with friends.
