Squirrel

I have found a new squirrel that always runs up a tree in the next door neighbors yard. The tree is right next to our fence and I know if I could climb the fence I could get it. It is so frustrating to not be able to get to it. I sit and wait everytime I go outside. One of these days it will pay off, I hope.

Alone in the house

A while back I found a space in the fence where I could get out and go visit the neighbor dog. Dad fixed it, but after a big storm the space was back, so when he wasn't looking I went through and my doggy sister followed me. When dad came to get us I decided I wasn't ready to go home yet, so I ran and ran. I love to visit new people and dogs, so that's what I did. Then a truck stopped and a man grabbed my sister and drove off. I didn't know what to do, I always take care of her and now I couldn't. Another man grabbed me and called my dad and he came and got me and took me home. I kept waiting for my sister to come home, but she was gone for almost a whole week before some policemen brought her home in the middle of the night. It was very lonely without her, I would rather have her here pulling on my collar than not have her at all. Mom and dad were really sad too, I tried to make mom feel better but it was hard to be happy. Now things are back to normal and I can play again, even though I have my sister attached to my collar.

Spring rain

It's been awhile, but I'm back. Just to catch everyone up on what's going on, mom and dad are getting married in a week and it's been raining almost every day for the past week. I don't understand why, but mom and dad don't like me to go play outside when it's raining. I think that's the best time. When mom and dad get married, we'll be a real family. I'm a little mad that I can't go to the wedding, I know there will a lot of people to play with and food to eat. They told me they would bring back some food though, so I guess I still love them.

Almost Christmas

We've been putting up all of the Christmas stuff around the house, I think the best is the tree. I like to stick my head in it and see all the pretty lights. Mom and Dad don't like it when I do that even though I haven't broke any ornaments doing that yet. I did break one with my tail. I just got so excited to see my friend that I couldn't stop my tail from wagging and hitting the Christmas tree. Dad's family is coming in a couple of days and I'm really excited about that. I haven't seen them since last Christmas. They always give my good treats and lots of attention. I'll have to be extra careful with my tail because I know it will be going crazy.

My new pond

Finally there's water in that big hole we had in the backyard. It's so nice to just jump in there and lay down. I get in trouble every time I do it though. I don't understand, I thought they were making me a pool. My little doggy sister has one, I just thought I should have one that's more my size. I guess I'll just have to sneak in while nobody's looking.

Swimming time

I finally got to go swimming again yesterday. We went to in town grandma's house and spent the day just laying around and swimming. Dad put me in the pool, which made me mad, but it felt pretty good. I like just laying in the shallow part and enjoying the sun. After all that excitement, I was pretty tired, but I woke up when we went to Petsmart. I got to meet some new people that were really nice. It was so much fun, but I was wiped out after all of that.

My new hiding place

I have the best place to hide in the backyard now. Dad dug a big hole that is going to be a fish pond, but for now it is my hiding hole. I can go in there and hide from my doggie sister, Maggie, and then jump out at her. I can't believe dad made a hole in the yard, I always get in trouble when I try to make one. I'll bark at you later.

Another day in my life

Things have been going great at the new house. I haven't had to go into my cage once since we've been here. My little sister still has to go in hers though because she still tears stuff up. It's nice to get a break from her biting me. I hardly get to sleep during the day anymore because she always wants to play. I do have fun with her though. It's time to play again, she's pulling on my tail.

My new house

We just got moved into the new house. I love it! There's lots of room to run in the yard and dogs next door that I can talk to. I was a little worried that my couch wouldn't be here, but mom and dad brought it for me. I found a window that I really like and mom put my bed next to it for me. It looks out the front, so I can see if anyone is coming to the house. It's fun to push my sister on the floors too (she just slides so easy). Gotta go back to the window and keep watch.

It's moving time!

All day mom and dad have been packing stuff in boxes. I know what that means. New house! I don't know what it will be like, but I'm excited. I like to have new places to explore. Maybe there will be some doggie nieghbors to play with. I make sure and check all of the boxes before anything goes in them. I can't let anything get past me that I don't know about.
