Arrival Story:
After trying to keep up with Maisy for a year, Mama decided they needed a new puppy to play with. After much consideration, Mama figured she should get another herding dog who would be able to match Maisy's energy and interest level. So Mama did a search on Petfinder.com for a local puppy that was a herding mix. She found a litter of puppies at Lil' Waif Puppy Rescue. According to the story, this was a litter of Australian Shepherd/Boxer mix puppies whose mother had been tragically killed in Eastern Washington. This seemed like a good fit and Mama adopted me. Now Mama noticed that I didn't look very much like my siblings, but it didn't seem that important at the time. Over the next several months, it became obvious that I was actually a hound/boxer mix with little or no Aussie in me. Mama says that I am the sweetest puppy and I adore Maisy even if I can't quite keep up with her. We have a great time playing all over the house and the yard. I love giving kisses though Mama and Daddy think I'm overly enthusiastic about showing my love. I also love my Hippo and take it to bed with me every night.
